Private Client Solicitor (NQ - Senior Associate)Location: Cowbridge, Cardiff, ChepstowType: Full-time, Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Private Client Solicitor to join an award-winning and expanding Private Client team. This well-established and friendly practice has a strong reputation, having been shortlisted for Private Client Team of the Year at the Wales Legal Awards in 2022 and 2023. The successful candidate will have the chance to develop their career within a supportive and successful firm.

The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing a varied caseload, including:

  • Bespoke will drafting
  • Probate and estate administration
  • Deputyship applications
  • Trusts and Powers of Attorney
  • Probate disputes
  • Court of Protection matters

They will work closely with the experienced Head of Department and benefit from direct support from the departmental secretary.

The Ideal CandidateThe firm is looking for a Solicitor with:

  • A Solicitor (NQ+) with experience in private client law
  • Excellent technical knowledge and the ability to manage a broad caseload
  • Strong client relationship skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service
  • Familiarity with Case Management Systems
  • Professionalism and sensitivity in handling complex and personal matters
  • Confidence in networking and business development activities
