Conveyancing Assistant

Our client is a small, multi-discipline firm based in Cardiff. They are offering an exciting opportunity for a Conveyancing Assistant to join their property team. Experience within conveyancing is essential, as well as the ability to work quickly and accurately. Offering whichever way of working you find the best for you - remote, hybrid or office based - and an excellent standard of training, this is not an opportunity to miss out on.

Duties

  • Opening new files and inputting new instructions onto the Case Management System (CMS)
  • Updating the CMS in accordance with team procedures as the matter progresses
  • Issuing contracts on sales files, dealing with replies to any enquiries
  • Setting up completions and issuing mortgage reports to clients
  • Handling incoming post and telephone enquiries where necessary and possible
  • General administration duties - including but not limited to filing, billing, faxing, photocopying, sorting post and archiving

You

  • You must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience within conveyancing
  • Proficient IT skills
  • High standard of literacy and numeracy
  • Ability to deal with enquiries in a customer-friendly and effective way
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Flexible and adaptive approach to work
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
