The RoleAs a Private Client Legal Assistant, you will provide vital support to the Private Client team, ensuring the smooth operation of administrative and legal tasks while delivering excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting fee earners with case management, drafting correspondence, and preparing legal documents.

  • Managing client communications, including responding to inquiries and providing case updates.

  • Organising diaries, scheduling meetings, and arranging client appointments.

  • Ensuring compliance with legal procedures and maintaining accurate file records.

  • Supporting the preparation of wills, probate applications, and trusts.

  • Providing administrative support for billing and invoicing processes.

About You

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Assistant, ideally within a Private Client team.

  • Knowledge of wills, probate, trusts, and estate planning processes.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • A professional and client-focused approach.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and legal case management software.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working in a leading law firm.

  • Legal qualifications such as a CILEx Certificate or equivalent.
