A prestigious, award-winning Residential Property team is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Legal Assistant to join their team.

As a Legal Assistant, you will be an integral part of a busy and successful Conveyancing department, working closely with one of the Senior Property Lawyers. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive, professional environment while handling a diverse caseload and building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide essential legal support to Property Lawyers and clients, ensuring smooth, efficient processes.

Handle client queries, prepare quotes, and assist with converting leads into successful instructions.

Work with key parties such as the Land Registry, mortgage lenders, and other relevant stakeholders.

Assist Property Lawyers in managing their caseloads, conducting legal procedures under supervision.

Ensure that clients receive outstanding service by handling queries and keeping them informed at every stage of the process.

Efficiently manage administrative tasks, including processing post, emails, and filing documents in line with the firm's standards.

Make applications to the Land Registry and request necessary searches.

Maintain case management systems and keep records up to date, ensuring compliance with deadlines and internal procedures.

Support the team with file management, including closing and archiving.

Undertake training to continue developing your professional skills.

Ideally what is needed

A Legal Assistant with experience in Residential Property or Conveyancing.

A proactive team player with excellent organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a busy environment.

Someone who is calm under pressure and enjoys working within a team to meet deadlines.

Computer-savvy, with experience in using Case Management systems.

Excellent communication skills, both over the phone and in writing.

A client-focused attitude and the ability to use your initiative when handling tasks.
