TSR Legal are pleased to be working with a prestigious Cardiff-based law firm that prides itself on delivering expert advice to local and business communities across the UK. They now have a new opportunity for a Legal Assistant within their Secured Lending Department, your role will be instrumental in the smooth execution of secured lending transactions, ensuring that clients receive impeccable service and support.

In this position, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive due diligence, preparing and reviewing legal documents, managing registrations, and upholding the highest standards of legal compliance. Your work will directly contribute to the firm's reputation for excellence and the successful outcomes of complex financial arrangements.

You Key Tasks and Responsibilities will be:

1. Reports on Title: Your expertise will be crucial in reviewing property titles to craft comprehensive reports, pinpointing any potential issues that could impact the lending process.

2. Registrations: Take the lead in preparing and lodging critical documents to register security interests, safeguarding the lender's legal position.

3. Client Communication: Become the trusted liaison for clients and agents, adeptly managing communications, addressing queries, and providing regular updates to ensure a seamless transaction experience.

4. Document Preparation and Review: Utilise your keen eye for detail to prepare and scrutinise legal documents, including loan and security agreements, as well as compliance certificates, to guarantee their accuracy and integrity.

5. General Administrative Support: Contribute to the smooth operation of the legal department through diligent administrative support, encompassing scheduling, file management, and correspondence handling.
