Description
- Maintain accurate records of fleet vehicles, including registration, insurance, and service history.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repairs to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Manage fleet-related documentation, including invoices, contracts, and compliance reports.
- Support the procurement and disposal of fleet vehicles in line with company policies and budget considerations.
- Provide administrative support to fleet managers, drivers, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Maintain the Fleet email inbox.
- Take charge of the company fuel card.
- Able to pick up broken down vehicles when needed and take them back to the workshop (not a regular occurrence, but a driving license is required).
Profile
A successful Fleet Administrator should have:
- A background in fleet management or administration.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A keen eye for detail and a systematic approach to work.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in the use of relevant computer applications.
- A commitment to providing high-quality public service.
- Willingness to drive fleet vehicles when needed.
