Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Supplier Relationship Officer and play a crucial role in enhancing our supplier engagement and performance. This is full time, permanent position that will allow you to work from home 4 times per week, and once on site per week. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Onboarding:Ā Facilitate the new supplier setup process and distribute the supplier engagement pack to new suppliers.
  • Performance Reporting:Ā Maintain and update KPI reporting for the new supplier setup process, identifying areas for improvement and development.
  • Supplier Engagement:Ā Maintain and update the supplier engagement pack as required.
  • Credit Checks:Ā Conduct credit checks on existing and potential new suppliers.
  • Supplier Termination:Ā Collaborate with colleagues to facilitate the supplier termination/switch-off process on Technology One and follow up with stakeholders.
  • Database Management:Ā Maintain and update the supplier contact database (initially an Excel file).
  • KPI Performance:Ā Report KPI performance for key and strategic suppliers, supporting the Procurement Act 2023, procurement strategy, and critical success factors with assistance from the Supplier Relationship & Partnership Manager.
  • Performance Monitoring:Ā Maintain and update the supplier performance heat map and holistic calendars for the SRM programme and supplier performance review meetings.
  • Legislative Compliance:Ā Utilize data from Net Positivesā€™ portal to maintain supplier dashboards, highlighting performance and action plans against legislative compliance, and engage suppliers in their completion.
  • Social Value Reporting:Ā Report the delivery of social value via awarded ā€˜liveā€™ contracts.
  • Event Support:Ā Assist with the annual supplier awards programme, supplier conference, and communication approach to suppliers.
  • Content Management:Ā Maintain and update the Procurement connect page and website content.
  • Compliance Monitoring:Ā Monitor and measure key and strategic suppliersā€™ compliance with legislative requirements related to the supply of goods and services via the annual completion of the risk file.
  • Customer Service:Ā Promote good customer service by maintaining active dialogue with stakeholders regarding supplier relationship management policies and procedures.
  • Process Improvement:Ā Collaborate with stakeholders and the wider Procurement team to recommend improvements in established processes and procedures.
