Join a leading main contractor specializing in large-scale, complex construction projects. Currently, undertaking an exciting data centre development in Cardiff, and we are seeking a reliable and proactive Site Administrator to join the team and provide essential administrative support on-site.
As a Site Administrator, you will be responsible for providing key administrative support for the smooth operation of the data centre project. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient communication, document management, and coordination between the construction team, subcontractors, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate site records, documentation, and project files.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of reports, including progress updates, safety documentation, and project schedules.
- Coordinate site meetings, taking minutes and following up on action points.
- Process and track purchase orders, deliveries, and invoicing.
- Handle general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by assisting with site audits and keeping track of safety documentation.
- Act as the first point of contact for site queries and liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers.
- Support the project team with day-to-day operational tasks as needed.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a site administration role within construction, ideally on large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and site management practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders.
- Relevant administrative or construction qualifications (desirable but not essential).
- Previous experience working on data centre projects is advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach with a problem-solving mindset.
