Internal Sales Administrator

Cardiff

Full Time - Monday - Friday

Working Hours - 8am - 5pm (Or 9am - 6pm as there is some flexibility)

Salary - £28,000 - £30,000

Quarterly performance bonus possibilities

We are looking to recruit an Internal Sales Administrator to ensure that our client’s customer’s journey from the moment of quotation to the point of a job starting is seamless, to be a point of contact for quotation queries and complement the role of commercial sales manager.

Key Tasks

To create quotations and send to customers.

Contact customers and see if they wish to place any orders.

Upsell on orders received.

To send confirmation of accepted quotes and convert the quote into an order, liaising with the transport office planner.

To answer telephone queries regarding sales and make appointments for the external Sales Manager where needed.

To call outstanding quote customers to see if there is any feedback regarding the quote.

To manage the CRM database and contact customers to see if any jobs due to start may need support and make appointments for the Commercial Sales Manager.

To accept small non-commercial sales orders and liaise with the planner to get these orders fulfilled.

Essential Skills

Previous sales and administration experience essential

Ability to upsell and work to targets

Organisational skills

Email and calendar management

Keen eye for detail and ability to work under pressure

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

IT literacy, including MS Office
