Description
As the Area Operations Manager you will be responsible for:
- Lead and manage the Operations team, overseeing performance, attendance, and adherence to company policies
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety checks and audits
- Drive operational performance to meet production targets while maintaining quality and efficiency standards
- Monitor and optimise production schedules, proactively addressing potential issues
- Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction and efficiency enhancement
- Build strong cross-departmental relationships and ensure effective communication across teams
- Oversee quality assurance processes in collaboration with the QA team

- Proven track record in manufacturing/production leadership roles, particularly in FMCG environments
- Strong people management skills with experience leading large teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making capabilities
- Comprehensive understanding of GMP, safety, and environmental regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
