What You'll Be Doing as the Production Manager

  • Lead the production team: Ensure CNC operators are working to schedule and maximising efficiency. You'll be responsible for achieving production targets, improving performance, and driving continuous improvement across the shop floor.
  • Foster a safety-first culture: Lead by example and ensure that health and safety standards are not only met but exceeded. You'll own accident investigations and ensure housekeeping standards are of the highest level.
  • Drive customer focus: Ensure production is always aligned with customer needs and be the driving force behind delivering high-quality products on time.
  • Cost management: Manage operating costs, keeping them within budget and forecast. This includes controlling labour, consumables, and reducing scrap costs to drive profitability.
  • Develop and motivate the team: You'll provide training and development opportunities for CNC operators, ensuring they're fully engaged and skilled in their roles.
