We are seeking an individual that is capable of management and coordination of a site-based team for 2 weeks holiday cover. This reputable contractor is looking for an experienced Site Manager to assist in delivering a Commercial, CAT B fit-out project in Cardiff.

This is 2 weeks cover and need someone that will be available throughout the duration of the project.

Your ability to be client-facing and communicate effectively will be crucial in maintaining strong relationships with our valued clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the trades and ensuring quality on site
  • Managing the health and safety on site
  • Ensuring all works are carried out as required and safely
  • Manage the quality of completed works
  • Conduct regular subcontractor meetings
  • Liaise directly with Contracts Manager
  • Ensuring work is completed within budget and on time at the highest quality standards.
  • Lead and manage site personnel, subcontractors.
  • Oversee general day to-day operations on the construction site

Requirements:

  • MIUST be CSCS, SMSTS, FIRST AID certified
  • Minimum 5 years experience site management
  • MUST have CAT B project experience
  • Ideally with fit out commercial project experience
  • Strong knowledge of fit out, construction processes, techniques, and materials.
  • MUST be proficient in MS projects
