Marketing & Welsh Language Assistant

Our successful client in Cardiff are looking to recruit a Marketing & Welsh Language Assistant to join them on a permanent basis.

This is a unique role, where you will combine strong experience in Marketing with a passion and experience of promoting and developing the Welsh Language.

The Role:

• Assisting with creating content and development of marketing materials, including posting content across various social media platforms
• Assisting in the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns and delivery of internal communications
• Assisting with the planning and organisation of events and attend relevant events
• Supporting the HR team in achieving its Welsh Action Plan and projects funded by the Welsh promotion grant (Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol)
• Supporting teams in the promotion of Welsh language resources
• Supporting the business to identify ways to promote the Welsh language and culture internally and externally
• Assisting in the development of Welsh language marketing materials and translating internal communications and social media posts and blogs into the Welsh language

The Person:

• Fluent in the Welsh Language both written and verbal
• Educated to degree level or equivalent with strong Marketing experience
• Full driving licence with use of own vehicle
• Interpersonal skills Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Packages Digital design skills
• Knowledge of social media trends, operations and tools such as Hootsuite
• Knowledge of digital marketing trends, operations and tools - e.g. PPC, email marketing, analytics, CRM systems

The Package:

Salary will be between £24,500 - £27,000 dependant on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 4:30pm, based at the company head office
