Reed Recrutiment are working alongside an industry leading client recruiting for a Lead Project Engineer to oversee a wide range of multidisciplinary engineering projects and manage a team of Project Engineers. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in mechanical, electrical and civil engineering, capable of ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Manage and develop a team of Project Engineers, oversee project execution from start to finish, ensuring alignment with goals and timelines.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance across multiple engineering disciplines, ensuring technical standards are met and documentation is accurate.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all project deliverables comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements, and oversee quality control procedures.
Day-to-Day Activities
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to effectively manage resources and resolve conflicts.
  • Lead the integration of civil, mechanical, and electrical systems within project designs.
  • Conduct on-site surveys and inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) qualification is desirable.
  • Experience: 6-10 years in project engineering leadership, with expertise in design, integration, and project management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software, CAD/CAE tools, and a strong understanding of engineering principles and regulatory standards.
