Following a successful hire, this is an exciting opportunity to become the third new addition to a busy maintenance team at a site undergoing significant investment to meet increasing production demands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the SHE department to uphold the highest standards of Safety, Health, and Environmental performance in all maintenance activities.
  • Assist in recovering from unplanned stoppages and contribute to first-line troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to enhance plant reliability and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through FMEA, RCM studies, and optimising PM/PdM programs to improve Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
  • Support the MRO Stores Controller in optimising inventory to meet reliability and plant performance needs.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to manage contractor-led maintenance and capital project activities during plant outages.
  • Maintain detailed equipment records using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
What We’re Looking For:
  • NVQ / Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Practical experience with maintenance and reliability tools, including FMEA, RCM, condition monitoring, and CMMS.
  • Hands-on experience working with pumps, compressors, pipelines, boilers, vessels, and heat exchangers.
  • Knowledge of alignment techniques, ultrasonics, vibration analysis, and thermography.
  • Understanding of pressure systems, confined space regulations, risk assessments, and permit-to-work processes (hot work, etc.).
  • Strong reporting skills and the ability to assess, improve, and implement maintenance workflow practices.
