Links Recruitment present a fantastic opportunity for a NDT Inspector to join a continuously growing company who pride themselves in providing training and development opportunities for their staff who produce high quality products within the structural steel industry.

The core responsibilities of this role will be to inspect components using a variety of measuring equipment in order to meet the businesses' high standards. You will also have other responsibilities such as non-conformance monitoring and processing company documentation. The right candidate will hold NDT qualifications (PCN Level 2 or 3), have experience of NDT inspection and will be comfortable using machines and other measuring equipment to adhere to the industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform visual inspections (VT) and NDT of structural steel
• NDT inspection
• Utilising a variety of measuring equipment
• Non-Conformance monitoring
• Working closely with other members of the Quality team
• Coordinate inspections and NDT with site project managers or responsible person in charge
• You will prepares timely, detailed reports of the inspection and testing results

Requirements:

• NDT Inspector/ Welding Inspector/ Quality Technician or similar backgrounds.
• Hold NDT qualifications (PCN Level 2 or 3)
• CSWIP or PCN accredited
• Experience of NDT inspection and will be comfortable using machines and other measuring equipment to adhere to the industry standards
• Must have CSWIP 3.1 at a minimum, and PCN Level 2 MPI would be advantageous but not essential
