We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a modern mental health treatment facility in Cardiff, for skilled Charge Nurses to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to provide senior nursing leadership within a state-of-the-art facility offering secure gardens, a gym, hydrotherapy pool, patient practice kitchens, and more.
Our clients service is expanding to meet the needs of patients with complex mental health challenges. The facility provides a tailored, homely environment that promotes independence and recovery, supported by an experienced multi-disciplinary team.
What Youll Do:- Lead the nursing team, supporting both the Clinical Lead and Unit Manager
- Step in as deputy in the ward managers absence, ensuring smooth operation of the unit
- Adapt to the changing needs of the service and respond flexibly to challenges
- Serve as a role model for the nursing team, demonstrating core values and a high standard of care
- Work night shifts, from 19:30 to 07:45
- Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN and at least 2 years of post-qualification experience
- Strong clinical background with proven leadership skills
- Positive, flexible attitude, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
