Supported by the MD who recognises the importance of driving HR initiatives to enhance business performance, and reporting to the HR Director you will enjoy a busy, varied hybrid role in which you will:

  • Manage your own designated area of the business
  • Handle end to end recruitment including onboarding
  • Deliver inductions
  • Support and advise Line Managers on ER including disciplinary, grievance, performance management as well as complex case work when required
  • Attend disciplinary and grievance meetings
  • Provide guidance and support on policies and procedures
  • Monitor and manage absence
  • Support line management on short and long term sickness attending meetings and liaising with Occupational Health where necessary
  • Work closely with Line Management for identify and support training needs across the designated area
  • Promote a positive workplace culture, assisting with regular Employee Voice focus groups and attending Employee Committee meetings
  • Enjoy involvement in wider strategic HR projects across the business

The successful candidate will have:

  • Ideally, CIPD qualification /studying towards
  • Solid HR generalist experience
  • Manufacturing or retail experience could be helpful
  • Sound knowledge of employment law and best practice
  • Excellent organisational skills, juggling priorities, managing expectations
  • Strong problem solving ability
  • Proficient on MS 365, SharePoint, HR systems
