We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Cover Supervisors to support a range of secondary schools across Cardiff. This flexible, ad-hoc role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking for work on a day-to-day or short-term basis. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an essential part in ensuring that students remain engaged and productive during the absence of their regular teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students in the absence of their regular teacher.
- Ensure students are following the lesson plans and instructions set by the teacher.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Provide support to students where needed, ensuring their well-being.
- Ensure the smooth running of lessons and assist with any administrative tasks required.
About You:
- Previous experience working with young people in a school or similar environment is desirable.
- A strong interest in education and the well-being of students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate students in a classroom setting.
- Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to new situations.
- Enhanced DBS check (we can help you with this if you do not have one).
