Driver's Mate

Role: Drivers Mate

Location: Cardiff 

We have exciting opportunities for a Driver’s Mate to join a busy team with a client based in Cardiff. Our client is a busy courier service and as such, they are looking to add new members of staff to their team. The role will involve delivering home furniture items to different customers across South Wales.

This role is Part-Time and the hours will be different each week due to requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading/Unloading vans with household furniture
• Completing local deliveries to customers
• Manual handling/ lifting.
• Using navigation systems to determine best routes
• Reporting any issues with vehicles with managers
• Customer Service
• Working in the warehouse when required

The ideal candidate must:

• Be flexible with finish times, as this will vary each day
• Provide excellent customer service
• Have good attention to detail
• Work well within a team

Shift pattern:

Amount of shifts will vary each week depending on requirements. You will need to flexible with the working hours.

Pay Rate:

• Days: £12.34 per hour
