Freelance Design Manager (Construction)

Acorn By Synergie is working in partnership with a leading main contractor that is looking for a freelance Design Manager (Construction)

Freelance position on a week by week bases. Will be based on a large commercial project in Cardiff South Wales. Project value 100M+

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing all aspects of the design and construction process for a commercial project
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
• Managing budgets, schedules, and quality control
• Resolving design and construction issues effectively
• Providing leadership and mentorship to the project team

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
• Extensive experience in construction design management
• Proven track record of delivering successful commercial project
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Hourly rate / day rate negotiable, working Monday to Friday
