HR Administrator

Hoop PS&HR are proud to be working with an incredible not-for-profit organisation based in Cardiff City Centre. Our client is looking for a HR Administrator to join their incredible team part time on a permanent basis. This position is suitable for someone who is looking to develop their skills and knowledge further within Human Resources.

This is a hybrid position that is perfect for someone who is looking for a casual role. This position is 18 hours a week over 3 days, based in Cardiff/hybrid. It comes with a salary of 11,852 pro rata (FTE: 23,500).

Responsibilities:
  • First point of contact for the team, manage the HR inbox and support any queries.
  • Support recruitment by posting job openings on all recruitment portals internally and externally.
  • General administration of recruitment, shortlisting candidates, schedule interviews, and liaise with members of the team.
  • Maintaining HR documents, ensuring compliance and GPDR.
  • Update systems for payroll, starters, leavers, and promotions.
  • Support the onboarding process including DBS, Right to Work, and References.
  • Monitor probation review dates, including extensions.
  • Assist in coordinating performance reviews.
  • Schedule training sessions for employees.
  • Support the new starter introduction.
Key requirements:
  • Previous experience in HR Administration.
  • Strong IT skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with GPDR
  • Strong communication skills
