Job Title: Production Operator

Location: Rumney, Cardiff

Pay Rate: £11.44 - £11.94

Contract: Temporary on-going

Available shifts:6am-6pm, 12 noon-12 midnight

6pm - 6am 

Hourly rates: day shift £11.00 - £11.60 and night shift £11.50 - £12.10

Duties:

  • Assisting with the unloading of company vehicles
  • Sorting linen in the sorting area
  • Feeding linen through any ironer, towel folding or other garment processing equipment
  • Taking linen off the end of the production process, adopting quality control procedures
  • Assisting with the storage and packing of finished goods
  • Helping with other general duties within the production facility which may include cleaning, the removal of waste and other general cleaning and other duties on site
  • Assist loading/transport department on site, and off site in the event of exceptional circumstances.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Good eye for details
  • Reliable and Punctual 
  • Previous production experience

Successful candidates will be a pro-active team worker, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business. Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.
