Môrwell Talent Solutions is delighted to exclusively partner with a fast-growing, acquisitional business based in the North Cardiff area. Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Payroll & Accounts Assistant to join their small but dynamic finance team.

Role Overview:Reporting to the Group Financial Director, the successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the internal monthly payroll.
  • Managing a large weekly payroll.
  • Preparing and submitting HMRC payments and submissions.
  • Handling supplier payments and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
  • Overseeing credit control activities to ensure timely payment collections.
  • Managing the purchase ledger and maintaining accurate records.
  • Raising sales invoices with precision and efficiency.
  • Assisting with audit and compliance procedures to uphold financial integrity.
