Locum Band 7/8a Pharmacist required – Full-Time Opportunity in Cardiff available from February 2025!
Our client, a large acute NHS trust near Cardiff, is currently recruiting for a full-time locum pharmacist with hospital experience to join their team as soon as possible (February 2025 start). This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated pharmacist to work in a ward-based setting, providing essential clinical pharmacy support across medical and surgical wards.
Key Details:
- Position: Locum Band 7/8a Clinical Pharmacist
- Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (with a 30-minute lunch break)
- Location: Cardiff
- Parking: Onsite parking available
- Ward-Based Role: The position involves direct interaction with patients and healthcare teams on the wards, ensuring safe and effective use of medications, patient counselling, and clinical input on treatment plans.
- Pay Rate: £33 - £47 per hour (via Umbrella)
- Contract length - Up to 6 months!
The ideal candidate will have experience in hospital pharmacy, preferably in a ward-based setting, and be confident in supporting multidisciplinary teams across medical and surgical wards.
