Your Role

As an Electrical Inspector, you'll take ownership of a key area of the plant, ensuring engineering assets are running smoothly and efficiently. You'll be the go-to expert for detecting any issues before they become problems, helping to keep the plant safe and productive. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively identifying and addressing any deviations in equipment performance
  • Ensuring routine maintenance tasks are carried out efficiently and to the highest standards
  • Supporting electrical maintenance technicians and ensuring all tasks are completed safely and effectively
  • Working with contractors to ensure jobs are completed on time and to the required quality
  • Utilising predictive maintenance techniques to keep equipment running optimally
  • Keeping equipment documentation and drawings up-to-date

What You'll Need

  • Experience as an electrical maintenance technician, electrical inspector, or electrical engineer within a manufacturing environment
  • An NVQ level 3 or higher in electrical engineering
  • A solid understanding of preventive maintenance programs and tools
  • Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques to prevent downtime

In return, the electrical inspector will receive a salary between £36,000 - £40,000 (working DAYS Monday to Friday), plus a bonus of up to 5%, a pension, and a cash healthcare plan.
