Falcon Green are working with a European General Contractor that are focused on delivering complex, large scale life sciences and mission critical projects. Due to planned and continued growth, they now require a competent QA Inspector on a new data centre scheme in Cardiff.

As the Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be liaising with the site teams and client to ensure quality is adhered to from conception right through to handover. The ideal candidate will come from similar background and have experience working on large CSA, mechanical and electrical packages.

You would be joining a company that is renowned as a market leader in the industry and with annual turnover already over the €1 billion mark, they are well positioned to continue their market dominance. The orderbook is full for the coming years with all of their closest clients still as busy as ever.

Responsibilities:

  • Management, implementation, and company QA/QC standards and procedures.
  • Develop quality plans, manuals, documents, and systems.
  • Work with our Client to ensure that their Quality standards & procedures are successfully submitted, approved & implemented against agreed timelines.
  • Completion of Audits.
  • Advise Management on QA issues.
  • Ensure that all documentation and certification is complete and checked prior to final handover.
  • Attend and co-ordinate weekly meetings with the client, subcontractors & suppliers.
  • Documents Control - Reviewing and revising documentation and implementing required changes.

Requirements:

  • A relevant Third Level or Professional Qualification
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within strict deadlines.
  • M&E background
  • Excellent work and personal ethics that include trustworthiness, commitment, and empathy.
  • Ability to produce quality written reports.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
