We are currently looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join our clients team in Cardiff. This role focuses on larger-scale education and healthcare projects, offering the opportunity to work on complex, impactful schemes within these vital sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage mechanical teams on-site, ensuring efficient and safe operations at all stages of the project.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of mechanical systems in education and healthcare facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with all mechanical regulations, health and safety standards, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with project managers and other supervisors to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Provide guidance and support to mechanical staff, ensuring all team members work to the highest standards.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders, addressing any technical issues or concerns promptly.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor, ideally with a background in large education and healthcare projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, regulations, and health and safety standards.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues.
  • Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3, etc.) and a valid CSCS card.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
