we are recruiting for a well establised company, Due to continued expansion, we are seeking Production Supervisors to work within the facility in Cardiff.

The Role:

We are seeking Night Shift Production Supervisors .Working under the direction of the Shift Managers in order to ensure that the Company provides a high quality and reliable service to its customers.

All Staff are required to comply with reasonable requests to conduct duties which may include, but are not limited to:

The main duties of the roles will be: -

  • To ensure customer requirements are completed on time.
  • To ensure departmental resources are maximized wherever possible (machinery/labour/materials).
  • Take employee targets on an hourly basis ensuring company KPI targets are achieved on a daily basis and any problems are reported immediately at the time of occurrence to your Shift Manager.
  • Motivate staff by giving regular feedback, keeping staff informed and listening and responding appropriately to staff and production issues.
  • To ensure good communications and working relationships between staff and management.
  • To ensure the company health and safety policy is adhered to at all times in the department.
  • To ensure all department queries are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • To identify and oversee training requirements.
  • To ensure machinery is maintained correctly, notifying engineering and shift manager of any issues as required.
  • To keep accurate records where required, including (but not restricted to) those in relation to employee performance, development & productivity.
  • To keep work area clean, tidy, safe and secure at all times.
  • To carry out any reasonable request made by management.
  • To wear and use uniform, Personal Protective Equipment and handling aids, where supplied, at all times for all relevant tasks.
  • To carry out all tasks to comply with Company Policy on Health & Safety and COSHH requirements.
  • To comply with Company Policies and the Terms & Conditions of Employment and follow Company Procedures.
  • To attend training courses as required.
  • To maintain confidentiality of Company and Customer business.
  • Other Ad hoc duties as required.
