Assistant/Quantity Surveyor - Cardiff

PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for an Assistant/Quantity Surveyor; this will be an office-based role in Cardiff.

This opportunity is working for a leading contractor who operate primarily within the commercial, industrial & education sectors.

Job role: Assistant/Quantity Surveyor

Salary: 45,000 - 55,000

Duration: Permanent

Location: Cardiff, Wales

Assistant/Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:

  • Concept design, cost estimation, and pricing.
  • Negotiating and presenting contracts (for both clients and subcontractors), as well as preparing tender documents.
  • Reviewing building contracts and analysing contract terms.
  • Measuring quantities and forecasting project cash flow.
  • Gathering and evaluating client requirements, including after-sales service and customer relationship management.
  • Conducting market analysis (e.g., identifying potential clients, projects, and competitors) and assisting in the development of business, product, and country strategies.

Assistant/Quantity Surveyor Qualifications & Experience:

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of building construction management, estimating or quantity surveying.
  • Good industry knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills.
