Permanent role - New build residential projects and maintenance and refurb sectors
This is an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor experienced in new build residential projects of any size to work with a busy contractor in Cardiff area.Â
Quantity Surveyor Day to day:
- Provide estimates/costs to client where necessary
- Send all orders to subcontractors
- Request quotations from subcontractors
- Agree subcontractors variations
- Sign off subcontractors variations and orders
- Order materials for Operatives and Supervisors
- Apply valuations and invoices to client as agreed dates
- Raise client invoices
- Weekly internal contract meeting
- Measure bigger jobs to capture all elements of works
- Inform client of variation required (Subcontractor identified variation)
- Record pre-order number on service connect
- Record details of subcontractor variation on service connect
Quantity Surveyor Requirements:
- Relevant Surveying Degree
- Good Quantity Surveying Experience
Salary is flexible up to £55k + £5k car allowance and package.Â
There is the option for hybrid working, 2 days at home and 3 in the Cardiff office.Â
