Blue Water Recruitment are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work for a Principal Contractor based in South Wales.
The successful candidate will be working on new build construction projects across South Wales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review of internal budgets and risk management
- Preparation of sub-contract documentation
- Management of sub-contractor/sub-consultant packages on site
- Evaluating design changes and appraisal of options
- Assessment of sub-contractor/sub-consultant variations
- Certification of sub-contractor/sub-consultant applications for payment
- Negotiation of sub-contractor/sub-consultant final accounts
- Submission of monthly internal reports
- Client applications
- Contract administration
- Advise on contractual issues
- Ensure commercial compliance of current contracts, protecting the position of the company
