Controls Engineer

Are you a Controls Engineer looking for an exciting new challenge working on bespoke, one of a kind machinery?

Do you want the opportunity to really make an impact in a progressive and rapidly expanding business where you will have the chance to continue to develop and progress?

Based in South Wales, this company are among the fastest growing manufacturers in the UK and have been consistent in their success since the start. Having won multiple awards and achieved international recognition for their unique and innovative products they have recently seen an exciting period of growth. Working as part of a small in-house design team you will be involved in the machinery design for their South Wales factory as well being involved in a future project to establish a new manufacturing facility overseas.

In this role you will be working as part of a small, close-knit design team responsible for the design and optimisation of innovative manufacturing lines. You will be involved in full lifecycle design, including detailing and verification, component selection and procurement, and build and commissioning support. You will maximise reliability and quality of the existing production line whilst ensuring conformity with machinery safety regulations. You will be the point of escalation for the maintenance department for fault finding and diagnostics of the PLC and automation on the production line.

The Role:
*Design and optimisation of manufacturing systems
*Working as a senior part of a small design team
