We are pleased to be recruiting a Workshop Engineer for our international client in the Cardiff area.
Job Purpose
- The primary function is to refurbish equipment to standard suitable for either sale or operations.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Refurbish, upgrade and service a wide variety of equipment according to manufacturer's specification
- Duties to include diagnosing and repairing equipment faults, repairs, testing and packing equipment to ensure that they are protected in transit.
- Maintain accurate records via worksheets. This will include serial numbers, issues / problems, solutions and replacement parts used.
- Ensure that all equipment moves are carried out in a suitable manner to protect the equipment whilst adhering to all health and safety requirements.
- Ensure that the housekeeping in all working areas is maintained to high standard. This includes storage and usage of various chemicals in accordance with COSHH
- Provide engineering support when required for show set up and site installations
- To attend all corporate events and training days
This is a days regular role, Monday to Friday offering a salary between 24000-27000 per year DOE.
