Are you passionate about retail, customer service, and delivering exceptional experiences? Levy UK is seeking a dynamic Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Cardiff City FC.
As part of Levy, the market leaders in delivering world-class hospitality and catering, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing the retail operations at this iconic venue, with 34 retail bars and kiosks – employing up to 200 staff on a full match day across 23 home league fixtures plus internationals and other large scale events.
From matchdays to special events, this is your opportunity to lead and innovate in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
- Retail Operations: Assist in overseeing all aspects of retail food and beverage operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and adherence to company standards
- Team Leadership: Support the recruitment, training, and management of a motivated retail team. Lead by example to inspire excellent performance and service
- Customer Experience: Ensure all guests receive exceptional service, fostering a welcoming and memorable experience
- Financial Management: Assist in achieving sales targets, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability
- Health & Safety Compliance: Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards across all retail outlets
- Event Delivery: Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure successful matchday and non-matchday operations
About you:
- Previous experience in a similar retail, hospitality, or F&B management role
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to team management
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Financial acumen, including budget management and cost control
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
