Our fantastic Training Provider client is looking to recruit an Account Executive to identify and establish new business opportunities.

This company is superb, and as well as being employee-owned, meaning you have a direct stake in the company's success; they also offer an incredible benefits package which includes 30 days holidays per year plus bank.

The role is office-based in Cardiff, with meetings and visits taking place at client premises, plus a working from home day each Friday.

Candidates must have a full, clean driving license and access to their own vehicle.

What you'll be doing:

  • Generating new opportunities with new and existing clients through various sales activities, including sales visits, appointments, presentations, networking, mail shot activities, and telephone sales.
  • Work with the Account Manager to formulate account plans for designated clients.
  • Maintaining marketplace knowledge to identify and follow up on new business leads.
  • Achieving business requirements, and sales targets in line with KPI's.
  • Accountable for dealing with speculative calls, aftercare, and client service calls.
  • Maintain commercial awareness of business opportunities.

What you'll need:

  • Experience of working in a target-driven commercial environment.
  • Experience in business relationship management, customer service and sales.
  • Networking skills and highly developed client communication.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Must have a full driving license and access to own vehicle.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • IT iterate.
