The position is based in their Cardiff office, and the successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Finance.

Key Responsibilities

Credit Control:

  • Proactively manage client debt collection via telephone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Resolve account issues or disputes promptly and professionally.
  • Take appropriate steps for defaulting accounts, adhering to company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client account records, ensuring all actions are documented.

General Administration:

  • Prepare and send client statements via email.
  • Process card payments for invoices and account balances.
  • Handle invoice inquiries and monitor client accounts for incoming payments.
  • Assist with posting disbursements and support month-end billing activities.
  • Record invoices to the purchase ledger.
  • Coordinate weekly supplier payment runs.
  • Assist with credit card expense allocations and employee expense reimbursements.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience working in an accounts or finance environment or graduate in finance/accountancy looking for your first role.
  • Ideally, prior experience with client account management.
  • Strong organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on efficiency.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
