Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging biology lessons to students up to GCSE level.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to help them achieve their highest potential.
- Adapt teaching materials and methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning.
- Collaborate with other science department members to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.
- Participate in departmental meetings and school training events.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialism in biology, with experience teaching up to GCSE level.
- Strong understanding of the current curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.
