We are seeking a motivated and committed Religious Education and Humanities Teacher to join our team at a Sixth Form in Cardiff! This is a full-time position, available for an immediate start, ideal for someone passionate about helping students achieve their full potential in Religious Education and Humanities.

About the role:
As a Religious Education and Humanities teacher, you will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons to A-Level students, helping them develop critical thinking and analytical skills. You will be responsible for creating a stimulating learning environment that encourages debate, discussion, and a deep understanding of religious, ethical, and cultural topics. Additionally, you will guide students through their coursework and exam preparation, ensuring they are well-prepared for academic excellence and future opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Religious Education and Humanities lessons to A-Level students.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel motivated to engage with complex ethical and cultural concepts.
- Contribute to the school community by participating in extracurricular activities like debate clubs and faculty meetings.
- Stay up-to-date with the Religious Education and Humanities curriculum, employing diverse teaching strategies to meet varying student needs.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PCET qualification essential.
- Experience teaching Religious Education or Humanities at A-Level desirable.
- Strong commitment to student achievement and academic progress.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students in Religious Education and Humanities.
