About the Role:SET Recruitment is seeking dedicated and dynamic Secondary School Teachers to join our team of supply staff, working across various schools in Cardiff and the surrounding areas. As a supply teacher with SET Recruitment, you will have the flexibility to work in a variety of school environments, supporting students in their educational journey and covering absences as needed. This role is ideal for adaptable, enthusiastic teachers looking to make a positive impact while enjoying a flexible schedule.Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering high-quality lessons across various subjects and year groups in line with the curriculum.
  • Adapting to different school environments and quickly integrating into each school’s culture.
  • Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
  • Following lesson plans as provided and ensuring continuity in learning.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively and fostering a supportive environment for all students.
  • Working collaboratively with school staff and leadership teams to support student success.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in secondary schools.
  • Strong subject knowledge across one or more subjects.
  • Adaptability and resilience to work in different school settings.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and a positive approach to education.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one (This will be provided free of charge by SET) and eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on short-term and long-term placements as required
