Reed Education Cardiff are currently seeking Supply Teachers across Cardiff and surrounding areas to support local schools on a supply basis to cover absence.

What does being a Supply Teacher look like?
- Receive AM (on the day) calls or pre-books for cover from your consultant
- Arrive at the school before 08:30am
- Cover the assigned class with the work that is left for you – no planning required!
- End your day at 3:30pm approximately, taking nothing but your empty lunchbox home with you!
As the Supply Teacher, you will have/will be:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
- Previous experience of working within the Education Sector or similar
- A passion for teaching pupils, creating an engaging learning environment
- Available 2+ days per week (Preferred)
- Registered with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) preferred - this can be done during registration process
The salary for these roles are currently set at approximately £150-160 per day, dependent on experience. Should you be interested in long-term positions with full responsibility as a class teacher, pay rates will increase.
