Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver high-quality geography lessons through the medium of Welsh, aligned with the Curriculum for Wales, and suitable for all key stages.
  • Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of physical and human geography while enhancing their analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Monitor, assess, and provide constructive feedback on student progress, addressing diverse learning needs.
  • Contribute to the wider school community by organizing field trips, geography-related events, and extracurricular activities.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity and academic excellence.

About You

You will be a qualified teacher fluent in Welsh, with a strong foundation in geography and a thorough understanding of the Curriculum for Wales. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills and a commitment to fostering a love for geography and critical thinking among students.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialization in Geography.
  • Fluency in Welsh, with experience teaching through the medium of Welsh.
