Fire alarm and security engineer required for our client based out of the Cardiff area, who have been providing electrical services for over 30 years to the Commercial, Industrial, Domestic and Social Housing sectors.

You must be a fully qualified 18th Edition electrician, and you would predominately be working on fire alarm, access control and electrical systems.

You would be required to travel to sites over various locations in Wales so a full UK driving license is essential.

A DBS check will also be required.

Duties:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems in residential, commercial, industrial and domestic sites. This role involves ensuring that fire alarm systems are compliant with the relevant regulations and standards, as well as providing technical support and guidance to clients and team members.

Perform routine maintenance and servicing of fire alarm systems to ensure they remain operational and compliant. Troubleshoot and rectify any faults or issues as required.

Provide professional and courteous service to clients, addressing their concerns and providing technical support and guidance as needed.

Be available for emergency call-outs to address urgent issues with fire alarm systems and ensure minimal downtime.

Qualifications:

  • 18th Edition
  • 2391 Testing and Inspection
  • CSCS or Gold JIB card
  • Experience in using NICEIC software to upload certificates
  • Previous experience in fire alarm, door entry and installation works
