Are you a motivated Land Buyer looking for an exciting opportunity with a leading housebuilder? We are working with a well-established residential developer seeking a proactive individual to join their Land team.
The Role:
As a Land Buyer, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new land opportunities to support the company's future development pipeline. Reporting to the Land & Planning Director, your key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and appraising new land opportunities in line with regional and business objectives.
- Assisting in financial assessments, due diligence, and negotiations for land acquisitions.
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and changes in planning policy.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with land agents, local authorities, landowners, and stakeholders.
- Supporting the land acquisition process from initial identification to securing legal agreements.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in land acquisition, planning, or development within the housebuilding industry.
- Strong understanding of the land acquisition process, planning system, and legal aspects of development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- A full UK driving licence.
