Automation Engineer - Gates, Barriers, Doors & ShuttersCardiff£37,000 - £43,000
Our client who are a family owned business in Cardiff that has been operating in the Automation, Fire & Security industry for over 30 years are recruiting for an Automation Installation & Service Engineer to support the company's ongoing growth.
Main Duties:
- Responsible for the installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, fault finding, repair, and servicing of Automatic Doors, Gates, Bollards, Barriers, and Roller Shutters
- Preferred experience of as many aspects of Automation as possible, including manufacturers such as Dorma, Entrématic, Record, FAAC, BFT, Avon Barriers etc
Skills/Experience:
- 3 years of automation experience or experience in a related discipline. Training can be provided in some areas if required.
- Experience with installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, fault finding, repair, and servicing of Automatic Doors, Gates, Bollards, Barriers, and Roller Shutters
- ADSA BS/EN16005 certified preferable
- Basic understanding of electrical works
- Full UK driving licence
- No criminal record
- If successful, candidate must complete, submit, and pass a full security vetting clearance
- IPAF licence preferable
