Epilepsy Support Worker
IOS Care are seeking reliable and experienced support workers to provide night, evening and weekend care and support to a young man with epilepsy in Cardiff.
Duties will include:-
- Support with night and morning routine
- Observe and record night seizures
- Offer reassurance when needed
- Document all activities completed and handover to day staff
- Work with a co-worker in a professional manner
The young man is verbal and has a great sense of humour, he lives at home with his family and requires support from two staff members during the night and weekend days.
The hours of work are 9pm to 8am, 4pm to 9pm and 8am to 4pm (Saturday/Sunday).
The successful support workers will have care/support experience and knowledge of epilepsy.
