THE ROLEYou will support homeless individuals with mental health and substance abuse challenges, helping them access appropriate services.* Create a safe and psychologically informed environment* Conduct assessments and develop user-led support plans* Provide high-quality support with life skills and appointments* Manage a caseload of key clients, including those with complex needs* Facilitate group activities* Liaise with internal and external partners* Monitor and report incidents, ensuring compliance with Health and SafetyTHE CANDIDATEThe ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within homelessness and supported housing services.* Experience working with individuals with substance misuse and challenging behaviour* Ability to handle emergency situations calmly* Understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and personal care needs* Ability to assess risks and create user-led support plans* Knowledge of mental health, substance misuse, and service user involvement
