I have been asked to find a Works Manager/General Foreman or Womanfor an ongoing project in Cardiff.
The project is a large new build development and my client is responsible for the earthworks/enabling works, utilities, services- including diversions- and they need an experienced Works Manager for at least the next 6 months, possibly longer.
The ideal candidate will have a stable background and successful track record in Civil Engineering contracting- particularly bulk earthworks, enabling works or the remediation of contaminated land.
On offer is a salary of around 55k(plus package) or daily rate of between (Apply online only) along with the opportunity to work on an interesting/challenging project with a decent length of contract.
The ideal candidate could come from either a trades or technical background and will have strong management and motivational skills out 'in the field'
Strong site admin skills are required also for daily/weekly reporting and project admin.
You will need the SMSTS qualification and be able to put the trades to work effectively and safely.
