Qualified Social Worker - Fostering Team - CardiffWe are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker - Fostering Team within the Social Care industry in Cardiff. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels. The Qualified Social Worker - Fostering Team vacancy will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervising Regulation 24 Foster Carers
- Undertaking Special Guardianship Assessments
- Representing carers at the Fostering Panel
- Providing evidence to the court when necessary
- Working in partnership with the Children's Social Worker
- Connected Persons Assessments
- Giving evidence in Court
Experience preferred:
- Post qualifying experience of working as a Qualified Social Worker in a Fostering Team within the UK Social Care industry.
Minimum Requirements:
- SCW Registration
- 1 year post qualifying experience within UK
- Enhanced DBS (we can obtain for you)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
