SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) Wanted

Are you someone who has a passion for working with people with SEN? Have you previously been employed in an SEN or educational setting? If so, we might have the perfect role for you. Academics are currently recruiting for a TA to work with SEN pupils.

We are currently taking applications to work long term at a Cardiff primary school as an SEN TA. The role is to begin in April 2025, full time, for five days a week.

The contract will initially be until the June half term but will be extended, performance depending.

The role of a TA

  • Assist the teacher in delivering successful lessons
  • Work with pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with other staff members
  • Be a role model to all pupils

What we need

  • An enhanced DBS check (essential) which is subscribed to the DBS Update Service (desirable)
